We had yet another very bad experience with the iOS remote app yesterday. On the 3rd, the app simply crashed when launched. Yesterday that only happened three or four times. Once we did get it launched and connected to the Proclaim program using the local network, we had a series of error messages about not being able to change slides, then the remote app and the projector showed us at wildly different places in the service. I ditched the iPad and at least that was less frustrating. Who had the bright idea of making major changes to Proclaim right in front of Advent? What will it take to have a usable iOS app (I could live without the remote control function, we've now replaced that, I'd just love to get a layout with current slide, next slide and speaker notes on one screen that works). I shouldn't be spending my time fritzing with Proclaim in the middle of Advent. For kicks, I've attached our Proclaim log files just in case they might be of any use.
