Local Remote Still Unstable

Yesterday, the iOS remote app still struggled with remote control. It disconnected multiple times in the first quarter of the service. Once I changed away from using the local connection it was stable through the rest of the service. Is the instability here tied to our local network or is it Proclaim related? Attached find our logs.

The local remote has been very stable for us using an iPhone 6 with the latest iOS update. We did need to re-enforce our network/WIFI using several powerline network adapters. These appliances allow us to get both wired network and WIFI signals right where we need them. We worship in a rented space and don't have the luxury of running custom Cat5 cabling.

Hi Clint, I don’t see your logs attached. Mind trying to add them again?

Also, when you say it disconnected, what does that mean? Did the app say the presentation went off air? (even though it didn’t) or did you get a slide change warning?

It very well could be your network, but I think there is more we could do on Proclaim’s side as well. Your logs might point some of these places out.

Sorry....here are the logs. The error was the Presentation has went off air rather than the slide change error.

As I look at a busy weekend coming up....are there any changes forthcoming or should I assume the same set of tools I had last week? I may structure my notes / slides to assume problems with local remote. I've done all I can to settle down the wireless.

Hi Clint, no changes on our end yet. I am still looking to see if anything changed that could have caused this, or if we can make something more resilient to prevent the disconnects. Hopefully what ever you did to your network will make this weekend better.

We have also been making changes to the backend on the internet based remote, so the experience with that should be better as well.
