Yet another great Christian book that Logos/Vyrso doesn't have
Reading the Christian Spiritual Classics: A Guide for Evangelicals edited by Jamin Goggin & Kyle Strobel (IVP Academic, 2013)
Named as 2014 Best Book of Spirituality―Academic, by Byron Borger, Hearts and Minds Bookstore
The pipeline of new things coming into Vyrso includes a lot of fluff. I would like to see more emphasis put on filling out your catalog of great books from great publishers that you already do business with.

"A lot of fluff" is right Rosie Perera
I have been sitting back and watching what is coming into VYRSO and most of it is "Fluff." [Y]

"Vyrso" is intended to be representative of what you would find at your local "christian book store"... which is typically a lot of "fluff." The largest portion (based upon how Vyrso has been defined) will likely be fiction titles. I purchase many Vyrso titles for the "christian living" type of stuff. IVP Academic doesn't fit the normal type of stuff that flows into Vyrso, but some titles end up there due to an unwillingness on the part of the publisher to work with FL to bring the title to Logos.

It's great to see Rosie posting on here again: I have always appreciated her thoughts. I think she touches on something here that is a frustration to me. Most of the books in the Christianity Today "best books of the year" list don't make it into Logos or Vyrso, and John Swinton's excellent book Dementia: Living in the Memories of God won the Templeton Prize for best Christian book of the year, and deals with one of the major pastoral-theological issues of our age, yet I ended up buying it in a dead-tree version. I am a fan and enthusiast for Logos, but my biggest gripe is the time it takes for new, important books to become available (especially those published on the East of the Atlantic). I am sure they could even offer a bundle of the CT top books and promote it in CT.

Not at all. Christian Living is twice as many books as fiction. Currently fiction and YA fiction taken together will be less than a quarter of of the store. Ministry is a large offering, too. And Wipf & Stock have nearly put all of their recent books into the Vyrso store (including stuff published late in 2016), which makes this an ebook store as it should be.
Look at https://vyrso.com/products/search?q=&unlocked=no&start=&sort=newest&pageSize=60 - not so much "fluff" in the latest additions.
Have joy in the Lord!

I guess I haven't been following that closely enough more recently... however, the "Wipf & Stock" clearly fall into "the publisher won't allow in Logos, so we will go the Vyrso route." On a philisophical note, I believe these titles should be in Logos. On a practical note, I am glad they are available at all in Vyrso.
