Highlighting in Logos 6 Desktop
I like how Logos iOS allows you to drag and highlight using the previously used annotation. I wish I didn't have to right-click the highlight on Logos Mac OS, and then choose the Notes Document, and then click the square in order to select the highlight and icon. There are too many steps!

Hi joeyalan,
There is a much quicker way to highlight in the desktop version. Here's how I do it--
First, I set the highlight palettes to save in "Resource-Specific Note File." Now, you don't have to do this, but I find it easiest if the highlights go to a notes file that is named after the resource.
Second, and this will help you the most, I think. I assign shortcut keys to my most used highlighters. Then, all I need to do is highlight the text I wish to highlight, and hit the shortcut key.
Hope this helps make highlighting faster for you and, welcome to the forums!

Hello Levi, wow, I am impressed! Thanks for the warm and detailed welcome to forums. I always felt so 'unsupported' as a Logos user. Now, I feel like you've made the Logos community much more inviting. I tried out your suggestion, and it's definitely a lot faster than what I was doing before. God bless!
