Hi. Did you get the log files? Have you figured anything out yet? this is a real pain. Service after service this happens and our services don't run smoothly. always multiple reboots.
Hi, Scott, and sorry for the late reply. Motions freezing is usually due to a hardware issue, particularly with certain graphics cards. If you could submit your DxDiag to us we can see what sort of graphics hardware you have and whether it could be a problem when playing videos.
We've had a few reports that users who upgrade to Windows 10 saw this issue resolve for them. Is your presentation computer running Windows 10?
Hello Scott, as Peter mentioned it's likely a video driver issue. Ensuring your video drivers are up to date is the first step. Upgrading to Win 10 has helped many users as well. Additionally you can try disabling hardware acceleration in the settings menu.
