I'm sorry for the delay. The resource itself is complete but I'm still waiting on data type work that needs to be merged.

Thanks for the report! Looking forward to it.

Following up on this one as well. Seems very late in getting finished. [:(]

... very disappointing ...
Over-promising and under-delivering
Unfortunate [:(]

Resources are done and the data types have been created. It's looking like they'll be part of 7.8 which means the resources would be available late July.
Alternatively, I could put it into motion to release the resources now. You wouldn't be able to navigate the resources by canon number yet but we could push out an update in August to allow navigation by canon number and at the very least you'd be able read/use the resources now.

I'll let some others chime in with their preference. School is out for the summer for me. If late July (7.8) makes the most sense to streamline production, stick with that.

The one on pre-pub. It is part of some of the Verbum 7 Base Packages.

Ah. I have Verbum Silver, so I should get it when it releases.
Thanks!

I believe they are in Verbum Gold and up. May want to check:

You are correct. Thanks for catching that for me.

I now have Verbum 7.8, but I'm not seeing the 1917 code. Is it there but I'm missing it?

The code update missed the 7.8 window. I'm going to begin processing putting out the resources. You won't be able to navigate by canon number but once that code gets merged we'll do a simple update of the resource and push it out again.

Thank you, Kyle. Any idea when it should show up in my library?

I can't find any resource in my package that includes the 1917 Code. Isn't it about time this reference was included in the base package?

Yes. I'm targeting it for August 7 when we push out our next batch of resource updates.

It would be it's own resource. I'm guessing not that many people would be interested in the old codex, but it is relevant to understanding the 1983 codex.

Dear Kyle, Thank you for the reply. Somehow, I had missed it until now.

Dear Kyle,
I've just gotten an update, but I don't see the 1917 Code of Canon Law in the list of updated resources nor in my library. Has the resource been delayed or have I missed it?

It's been delayed by a day. [:(]
The resources are done and are ready to go out but we missed our morning cut off. We're planning on pushing it out tomorrow morning.

It's still good news that we should see it imminently, though. Thank you!

Downloaded yesterday into my library. [:)]
Thanks for all the work on this resource. I know it's been frustrating at times, but it's across the finish line now.
Links relative to the 1983 CIC are very much appreciated. I'm not sure I read that in the product description, so it's a pleasant surprise for me.
Thanks again!

Kyle, thank you very much for this. I also really appreciate it. It's an excellent resource.

Is the 10 vol. Commentary on the 1917 CIC going to be ready anytime soon? I may be starting dialysis soon and it would make interesting reading while I'm having my body filtered of heresies.

I would suggest starting a separate post as this is a different topic and resource set. Including a link to that resource set would help facilitate discussion.

I am grateful to have the 1917 code now available in Latin and English. There are some areas of functionality that are missing that it seems from the above comments are intended but not yet functional. I'm wondering if there was an update on the following issues:
- The ability to type in the canon number and have the book scroll to the appropriate milestone
- The footnotes in the 1983 code that reference the 1917 code should link (allow popup on hover, etc.)
- I should be able to prioritize either the Latin or English (Ed Peters) as my "preferred CIC 1917 resource"
When the 1917 resources were released, the comment was made that "the datatypes are done." I would assume that there would therefore be a "CIC1917" datatype that would allow all of the above to happen. Any timeline for all this?
