So, I have been a long time user (since nearly the beginning, 25 years back). I have always used MSWord for my sermons. As soon as the sermon editor came out, I wanted to try to use it. there was/is not import, so I just copy/pasted what I had written, then worked at it to format it to useable function.
The challenge that I have is several fold, and not sure if these have already been asked. I apologize if they have, I did do a search, and couldn't find what I was looking for. here they are in order of importance. without number 1 and number 2, I can't even use the tool. maybe I am just used to the way I do things, but there it is.
1. Firstly, I preach from a Tablet PC (not a tablet device like an iPad or android device), and the multi-touch screen works awesome for Word, and I can scroll and pinch easily the text on the fly. Not only is that not easy within Logos7, it is very hard to control the scroll at all. Will there be any work to allow an actual touch interface, either programmatically, or a selectable configuration?
2. Textual markup: something that I have done from the beginning of the ministry GOd has given me is when doing an outline, talking points, or even a scripted message, I "need" to have highlights in the text. the highlights help me with various points of prioritization, talking points, stories, and helps me stay on track. Will there be any work in allowing highlighting in the sermon editor?
3. Importing/mass-importing: Will there be any work in allowing the sermon editor to import Word documents, without having to cut/paste text? Having this, especially if it allows selecting multiple documents to import, would be great to get all/most of my work in one archive for future use.
