License Backup

Point number one: I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about the amount of money I'm pumping into Logos 4. I'm constantly getting offers for resources that are cheap today, but won't be tomorrow. It has gotten me thinking. If I spend just $20 everyday on some resource or other, that comes to $7300 per year. That's more than I'm saving annually for a new car!
Point number two: I've been working in computers since the late 1960's. But you don't have to be as old as I am to be able to name a long list of computer software companies that were riding high for a while, and today they are no where to be found.
Conclusion: I need to be able to backup my licenses. I don't want to rely on the license backups on the servers in Bellingham, Washington. Storing data in the "cloud" is wonderful until there's a thunderstorm, and life seems to have a way of sending those along.
Also, I don't want to have to call or email customer support for a license backup every time I buy a new resource. I want to backup my own licenses for myself.
Logos management, PLEASE put this Logos 3 feature back into Logos 4. I can't afford to keep pumping money into Logos resources if I don't feel that my investment is absolutely safe.

I wonder if you can get content insurance for licensed books? Everything has risk. If you have a library of paper books at home and your house burns down...

Doug,
swap salaries? I have no fixed income [:D] must be nice to spend just $20 everyday on some resource or other, [:P]
Theres plenty of info how to get back up and running both here and on the Wiki, on event of catastrophic failure of the cloud, and precautions to take now to circumvent that, if you have a browse you shall find..
licence file is at $LOGOSDIR\Data\<random>\LicenseManager\Licenses.dat

I think you are missing to point. What IF there is no cloud - no Logos any more. Then what???

as I said, not a problem; its in the wiki:
http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers
using these methods I have installed on machines with NO internet access (so no cloud)

Just a follow up.
I've been reading the forums and the Wiki. I am now convinced that I could install Logos Version 4.0a on a new machine, and transfer all my resources and licenses from my old machine. Notice that I said Version 4.0a and not 4.0b. The reason for this is that I have an ISO image for 4.0a, but I haven't seen one for 4.0b yet.
The point is: If the Logos Mother Ship sinks, we must have the capability to install Logos 4 from a DVD, and then transfer the appropriate files from the previous Logos 4 installation.
