Point number one: I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about the amount of money I'm pumping into Logos 4. I'm constantly getting offers for resources that are cheap today, but won't be tomorrow. It has gotten me thinking. If I spend just $20 everyday on some resource or other, that comes to $7300 per year. That's more than I'm saving annually for a new car!
Point number two: I've been working in computers since the late 1960's. But you don't have to be as old as I am to be able to name a long list of computer software companies that were riding high for a while, and today they are no where to be found.
Conclusion: I need to be able to backup my licenses. I don't want to rely on the license backups on the servers in Bellingham, Washington. Storing data in the "cloud" is wonderful until there's a thunderstorm, and life seems to have a way of sending those along.
Also, I don't want to have to call or email customer support for a license backup every time I buy a new resource. I want to backup my own licenses for myself.
Logos management, PLEASE put this Logos 3 feature back into Logos 4. I can't afford to keep pumping money into Logos resources if I don't feel that my investment is absolutely safe.
