"Copy Bible Verses" doesn't do Book of Ruth for the HDOT (ESV) version

When you press or click to submit this in the popup's options, it either changes the bible version from HDOT, or it changes the book reference and fetches that instead.  E.g., it will give other OT books (Judges, e.g.) with HDOT, and it will give Ruth with e.g. AMP.

SO:  Is this a problem in lacking metadata for the combination (book=Ruth, Bible=HDOT, Module="Copy Bible Verses"), or is it a "software (functionality) bug"?  Thanks

    Charles,

We made a small change on our end that should solve this issue for you. If it's still not working tomorrow please let us know. Thanks.

It appears the "small change" was more than a small change since now "Replace with Passage" and "Copy Bible Verses" no longer works from the services menu in macOS Sierra 10.12.3.  Those options are now missing from Pages and Mac Office Word. They were there before. Please look into this.  Thanks.

Your fix worked for me, and I got what I needed for tomorrow's lesson done (Thanks).  BUT I hope you can get the broader problem fixed (as the other Charles reported)!

A possibly related or similar issue is that a special bible version I have, WUESTNT, doesn't have 1 Thessalonians (at least).

Thanks, and again, as I put in separate email Reply to you, the "Copy Bible Verses" feature is very helpful for "inset"-ting scripture passages into various formats into, say, a PowerPoint slide.  I would describe (if anyone's interested):  By drag-shaping a floated Logos Window of such, and then (outside of Logos, OK?:>) capturing the passage's image simply as a picture, I then can paste that image onto a slide, then stretch or shrink it -- i.e., tailoring its shape as an "inset" of the passage -- all to make it fit in (kind of like a puzzle piece) with other text boxes of comments or lesson points for the passage.  To me, this proves fairly handy.

I'll need a bit more info. Are you saying the "Replace with Passage" and "Copy Bible Verses" feature disappeared completely. i.e. it's not there at all. Or are you saying they don't work with the HDOT?

I'll need a bit more information. Are you trying to use the "Copy Bible Verses" tool for WUESTNT? Is there a specific verse or verse range you're trying to copy? (I ask because I'm not experiencing any issues on the 1 Thessalonian references I've checked.)

    Charles,

When you go to system preferences do these show up as options? Are they missing or deactivated?

    Thanks,

    Philana

Sorry about not getting back to you sooner.  Both "Replace with Passage" and "Copy Bible Verses" are missing from the "Services" menu which can be activated from Word or Pages.  This has occured before and was fixed.  I'm using a 2013 27" iMac running macOS Sierra 10.12.3 and the latest version of Logos 7.

Looks like I should have checked first before replying above...  [:P]   It's been fixed, both options are now back and working normally.  Thank you for taking care of it.  It's one of the most useful options for sermon prep and putting Bible studies together.  [:D]
