Creating a Psalm of the Day Personal Book, but Need Help
I recently learned of a new way to read through the Psalms from Donald Whitney's book "Praying the Bible". Whitney breaks down the system as one where for each day of the month, you read one of 5 possible Psalms. The five Psalms that can be chosen for each day are taken from, first, the Psalm that is the same as the day of the month (for example today would be Psalm 25), then, for the next 4, by adding 30 to the previous Psalm. So today's Psalms to choose from would be:
Psalm 25
Psalm 55
Psalm 85
Psalm 115
Psalm 145
And then Psalm 119 on the 31st
Whitney emphasizes that by reading the Psalms in this way one can choose one of the five Psalms which most resonates with their current life and emotional situation.
I would like to create a personal book to facilitate this because there is no way to create optional choices in the current Logos reading plans. I would also like to add the Psalm titles from a resource I own (Crossway's The Psalms) so that I can quickly scan the titles and find which Psalm is most fit for reading that day.
However, I need some help with the following:
1. How do I create a "jump to today" link for a PB calendar devotional?
2. Would the process for #1 be different for this resource because it is only by days of the month, and not days of the year (31 total pages rather than 365)?
3. I would also like to add the chapters of Proverbs (31) to this resource as options for each day. But I would love to have chapter titles for the Proverb chapters as well. Does anyone have, or know where I can find a list of chapter titles for Proverbs?

1. Do you want the text of the Psalm to appear (as in a lectionary) or simply a link to the psalm?
2. Do you want it to function as a Reading Plan (items marked as read) or as a devotional (simply show the appropriate day?
3. Do you know how to convert from Excel into .docx?
4. Chapter titles? I don't do chapters ... only pericopes so I'm no help on this

As far as I know and can see from the only PB calendar devotional I currently have in my Logos, opening it (e.g. from the library) will automatically position to today. Additionally you could prioritize the calendar devotional and have today's content automatically show on the homepage (will be someplace near the top amidst the other info sources you selected for the home page).
Alternatively you could use type lectionary instead to have it sit in the lefthand sidebar at exactly the same location every day - and have a today link.
But I think that Reading Plans do support multiple readings per day - you would tick off the day as read, not the individual psalm.

I've never experimented with such a format. As far as I know (and https://wiki.logos.com/personal_books#Milestones tells), Calendar Devotionals require a calendar date (February 26) - the milestone is formatted like this: [[@DayOfYear:January 17]] ) whereas the date-based lectionaries I've built all have a precise date (February 26, 2017 with a milestone like this: [[@YearMonthDay:Jan 17, 2012]] ) - there may be additional milestoine formats, but I'm unaware of a days of the month format. Maybe you'll need to build it for 365 pages nevertheless.

Hm. It seems the proverbs in Proverbs are not clustered neatly around topics per chapter. That said, e.g. The Message seems to have chapter titles

1. I'm just trying to have the reference there in a calendar devotional personal book, and not necessarily in the resource itself, although if there's an easy way to do this, I'm open to suggestions.

NB: Thank you for the suggestions! I may have to use the message titles, or just scratch the proverbs out. I'm looking for other resources that have Proverbs chapter titles... wondering what I can do to search for such things...
Another idea is that if all the proverbs would fit nicely into 31 (or divisible by 31: 62, 93, etc.) topics that would be perfect! But I doubt it will be that tidy, but this would actually be my preference.

To resolve all this, I just decided to give it a table of contents instead. This way the reader can simply pick the day of the month and go from there.
