Transfer Control to PowerPoint

When importing slides from PowerPoint I'm presented with two options, Convert to Images and Transfer control to PowerPoint. I've only used the first option (our hymnal is in PowerPoint form to match our hymnal book), what exactly does Transfer control to PowerPoint do, and how would it be used in a Proclaim service?

Hi Andy,

Thanks for asking the question. More about this can be found here. The ability to transfer control to PowerPoint is mainly for those that use text or slide transitions that are unique to PowerPoint that are important to them. Once the Proclaim presentation arrives at the PowerPoint presentation PowerPoint will launch (sometimes you have to maximize it if we fail to) and Powerpoint controls the slides created from it. Once the PowerPoint portion of the presentation is done, Proclaim takes over the presenting screen.

Proclaim does have slide transitions and can fade in parts of text per slide.
