Reading a resource on a mac like on iOS

I know on an iPhone with accessibility turned on, we can do a "two finger drag from top" to get a menu, and it will allow you to tell the phone to start reading the logos book.

I can't work out how to do this on my mac, is it not possible? It seems odd to me that the iOS app would allow reading but the desktop one wouldn't, so I assume there must be some way to do it.
