Is there a way to increase font size of the instant details thing?

Hi all,

I like this thing (might be called 'Information Tool Tips'):

Quite ingenious. I love that it hovers, so that I don't need to waste screen real estate with another panel. Very nice!

Here's the problem. It's too small to read. See:

• Increasing the program scaling doesn't change it's size, and that wouldn't be the solution I would want anyway (because that would increase the size of all the toolbars etc, leading to less screen real estate for reading etc.)
• Increasing content scaling doesn't change its size. 
• Changing the resolution of my display DOES change it's size, but this isn't an ideal solution because then I have to run my monitor at non-native resolution and everything goes slightly blurry.

Can we please have an option in settings to adjust the size of the font in this little bar at the bottom of the screen?

Related, but different. 

Moving that slider does not change the thing I'm talking about. 

If it did, it would still be unsatisfactory, because the text of my resource is a comfortable size (and I don't want it any larger).
