How can I tell what new Verbum Now resources are available each month for preview?

Hi Kevin.  Welcome to the forums.  [:)]

Unfortunately, the notifications have changed over time and sometimes not at all.  They used to come vial e-mail along with a coupon for discount last summer.  There was a thread late last year that asked a similar question.  After that they were posted on the Blog.  The last one I see there was for February.

We may need to wait for Thomas to chime in to see how that is going to work going forward.

If you are able, you may want to edit the title of this post to include Thomas' name and add more description.  For example: "THOMAS: Verbum Now Question".

Kevin, here you can see the preview resources for the month.

Also, I'm glad you made this post, because this week I was going to ask about this. I wonder for Verbum Now subscribers what would be the most convenient way for you to find out the preview resources. Would it help if I also send out an app message so in the software you will know right away? Or would it be helpful to send out a monthly email as an update? Or both?

Perhaps we might want to start another thread for this, but I want to start getting input from everyone about what kind of resources they might want to explore in the monthly preview. This is contingent upon publisher restrictions, of course, but to the best of my ability I want to offer the resources that active users are desiring.

    Let me know!

    Hey Thomas,

On the blog post, the link for the John Chrysostom resource is going to the Thomas Keating collection.

Thanks for calling attention to this! It's being fixed right now.

I think a blog post could be good for marketing, an email makes sense, and so does an in-app message. Most people won't see all three.

Right. It would probably depend on the month which one I'd see first. I don't think it would be overkill to use all three methods of communication.

I'd love to see previews for stuff from the Catholic Answers collection or the Catholic Scripture Studies International series. Commentaries, writings by or about the saints, and papal/magisterial writings are also good.

Sounds good to me too. CUA Fathers of the Church and ACW previews would be nice too.
