The .NET framework contains features that are common to many applications. It's made by Microsoft, and is important for Logos.
If you're having difficulties, you should try and install it manually from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=53345
If that fails, contact support. There is a logos support document, but it's quite out of date: https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/windows/dotNET

On Windows 10 laptop with Logos 7.5 Beta 4 and Verbum 7.5 SR-1, have .NET Framework 4.6.2 installed.
MSDN article => https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh925568(v=vs.110).aspx shows Release 394802 is Windows 10 Anniversary Update of .Net Framework 4.6.2

Now my Logos wont open. I guess I wait till Monday.

For manual install, need to run installer as Administrator.

Personally have an account for maintaining Windows and most software while use a standard user account for web surfing, email, Logos, and Verbum.
What is the .Net Framework 4.6 setup error ?
Also curious about diagnostic log files => What to do if Logos Crashes and => Report a Problem

Each flavour of Windows requires its own separate version of the .NET framework (Window 7, 8, 10, 32 bit, 64 bit etc.)
Manually installing a version that's unsuitable wouldn't help the situation...
It might be better going through the controll panel -> software -> add/remove Windows components, and enable everything related to .NET.

Download link has Web Installer of .NET Framework 4.6.2 for "Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2" that would download appropriate flavour.
Windows 10 Anniversary Edition includes .NET Framework 4.6.2 (so registry has one release number for Windows 10 Anniversary and one for other versions of Windows).

That's true, but the link I posted was a wrapper that would download exactly the right version for the OS.
