The book order is derived from the Tiberian textual tradition since the LHB is based on the Leningrad Codex. You can read more here:

This Hebrew bible (the Tanach) has been derived from the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC) maintained by the J. Alan Groves Center for Advanced Biblical Research by Stephen K. Salisbury ( Manual, Release Notes).

The Leningrad Codex is the preferred order, as it best represents the Massoretic scribal tradition. I would suggest doing some reading on the history of the the canonization of the bible, as things were a lot more fluid quite a bit later than most of us assume.
Referencing the Wikipedia article without looking more closely at the specific order was a mistake on my part, sorry to have caused confusion. I was unaware that having Chronicles first was even attested. I am drawing upon seminary lecture memories from 1996 or so, I should have read more closely. I would also encourage you to look at the German Bible Society version, Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, as that is the authoritative scholarly version of L that most scholars (and the Logos edition) follow. I was unaware of Ruth occurring anywhere other than immediately after Proverbs, based ostensibly on the thematic connection between Prov 31 and Ruth being affirmed at as a woman of noble character by Boaz (Ruth 3:11), same wording as in Prov 31.
Knowing now what you are trying to sort out, I would suggest finding an article or book on the history of the Jewish/Hebrew canon formation, as such a resource would provide the details it sounds like you are looking for about the possible reasons for the different orders. All we have are snapshots from different points in time about what orders were used us what geographical areas.

With your explanation, I now understand the version of logos is German Bible Society version, Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia.
I may check out other different version ( The Westminster, United Bible Societies ) history and logos data set in Hard Copy Publishing as your advise.
