- Open ESV (take note of what verse it is on when it comes up; wherever it was when you last closed it).
- Turn on Interlinear pane.
- Navitage to, say, Genesis 1:1 (or any different verse from what it was showing when you first opened it).
- Note that the ESV pane follows you. (Incidentally, I think you used to have to click on a word in the English text to make it follow but it now seems to work automatically -- this is a good improvement, but maybe I'm misremembering how it used to work.)
- Open any other resource in another tab and stack it in the same tile with the ESV.
- Click back on the ESV to bring it to the top.
Note the Interlinear pane has jumped back to the verse the ESV was on when you first opened it, though the English text is showing the correct (new) verse. This happens regardless of whether you had clicked on a word in the English ESV text (as I believe you used to have to do to get the Interlinear pane to scroll to the proper verse.)
