Good news, our devs have been working on indexing speeds and they've improved rev. interlinear indexing, a test revealed an 8 hour indexing process went down to 3 hours ! So all in all we are taking steps to optimize it before we start fixing the restarting of the index part, hopefully we can get that in before 4.0. If not we will have to give it to you guys via 4.0a or something like that.

I actually don't have a fan I can put directly on it...the air-conditioning didn't seem to help but probably cause I had it on 24 degrees (Celcius)....might have to crank it down next time....[H]Ok thanks....I'm sure indexing speed will improve in time
I direct a household fan toward my computers - that makes indexing go a little faster (and stops my laptop from shutting down!).

Fantastic news.
fixing the restarting of the index part, hopefully we can get that in before 4.0.
I sure hope this is done for 4.0. It'll be harder to sell the product on launch if this is not fixed. IMHO, the sort of users whom you appear to be targeting will not deal well with issues related to restarting indexing.
