Remote app data accumulation

I recently ran out of storage space on my iPad and while troubleshooting I noticed that the Proclaim App was taking up 1.2G of storage. I couldn't find a way to clear the data other than deleting the app and reinstalling. Can this data be cleared each time the app is closed?

Hi Chuck, is 1.2Gb what you are seeing in Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Storage?
