Audio files

We are having trouble with audio files attached to song lyrics. Settings seem to be correct, song plays through to end, but occasionally as we move through the order of service the audio file will randomly start up again even though there is no link on later slides. Can anyone help us identify why this might be happening?

    Hello Lee,

Thank you very much for the post, I apologize for the trouble you're experiencing with the audio files.

Would it be possible if you could provide diagnostic logs for this? Also please include the presentation name and time it happened.

To learn more on how to obtain log files please visit: http://support.proclaimonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/203763785-How-do-I-submit-log-files-

You're free to either email us on the address on that link or reply to this post and attach the logs by selecting the paperclip to attach it to this post.

    Hi Lee

I have found it a good policy to always set the background audio for every service item. Mostly the setting is 'stop background audio'

It is especially useful for the item that follows a hymn/song where you have an audio track playing.

If you do not have this setting in place the program will work just fine as if you move linearly through but as soon as you backtrack or pick an item further back in the playlist you are liable to also start an audio backing from a previous service item.

I hope this makes room sense :-)
