Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture - Baker Academic
Hi,
Verbum has the 11 volume series, "Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture" currently available. It looks like back in August of 2016, they (http://www.catholiccommentaryonsacredscripture.com/2016/08/09/now-available-hebrews-by-mary-healy/) added Hebrews to the series, but I don't see the option in Verbum to purchase Hebrews nor do I see it as a pre-pub. In April of 2017, it looks like they came out with an e-book and a paperback version of "James, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John".
Does anyone know if Verbum will be adding these volumes and the future ones that are being worked on at Baker Academic?
Thanks,
Mike

I am fairly sure FL will offer them as FL seems to have a good relationship with Baker, but when is anyone's guess, if it were a top priority they could have an upgrade package on offer soon... that said if it has to go through PrePub which is most likely it will need enough interest before they pursue a contract...
For example Westminster Bible Companion: First and Second Corinthians was published March 13 2015... Faithlife has had it in its system for pre-publication ordering since February 2017, and it has yet to secure enough interest for them to seek a contract, if this final volume of the WBC gets enough interest in the PP system it will be developed by placed in a cue which means it could be several months to a year or more off at that point (more typically several months from that point). This a most frustrating situation since you can get it on your computer immediately through Kindle, but admittedly it is less useful in that format verses Logos but I am positive FL loses many sales to Amazon over delays in publications.

Thanks Dan - that's a helpful insight.,
Do you know if there is anyone in particular at FL that a request like this should be addressed to?
I thought of the Kindle version, but it doesn't integrate with Verbum (does it?) and I don't want to have multiple resources that aren't linked. Plus there is that nagging money issue that comes into play if I get the Kindle version now and then get the Verbum version later.
If there were a way to get a Kindle version converted to a .DOC file, I suppose I could set it up as a Personal Book.

Using calibre you could convert it to .doc but it is still less than ideal and leaves you with it on your computer but inaccessible on mobile devices.

You may want to create a post in the Suggestion Forum with the title "BOOK SUGGESTION: name of book". Last I heard, Thomas Gette was stepping into the Catholic Products area at FL. You might be able to edit the title on this post and put his name in front. Or create a new post. He may see it.

Thanks Steve, I did post it in suggestions and also sent Thomas a message.
