Does the web app require a monthly fee?
No. Access to the web app is now available for all Logos 7 base package owners, in addition to Logos Now members and Logos Cloud subscribers.

It should be free for anyone that’s bought a Logos 7 base package (Starter & up) - have you bought one?

Yes. Bronze 7

I assume since I was a Logos Now subscriber when I purchased Bronze 7, and that I did not purchase the data sets, I am not qualifying for access to the web app?

You seem to be confusing the web app (https://app.logos.com/) with Logos Cloud (https://logoscloud.com/). You will get free access to the web app, but not Logos Cloud.

Make sure you are logged in. When you go to app.logos.com the first time you will have to log in with your correct Logos account at the upper right to get past that sign-in screen.

When I land there I get the three options and the upper right indicates that I am already logged in.

Bruce, try back later today or tomorrow. The access was originally added to our feature set products only. If you have a Logos 7 library without a Logos 7 feature set, you won't have access. But we're adjusting that soon.

Thanks Phil. I'll check back later. Actually I have both a bunch of Logos 7 Libraries and a Logos Basic Feature Set that was purchased earlier this year.

Logos Basic Feature Set doesn't qualify currently. It may in the future, but for now it's only the paid feature sets and (soon to be) libraries.

Thanks, Phil, that it will be opened up to people who only bought an L7 library.
It does raise a question. On the desktop, the newer program features (without the corresponding feature set) are shown as locked. I'm guessing that the web app will behave the same as the desktop, and limit users to only using the features that they currently own or rent?
I'm sure there's an obvious answer, but users have many choices between buy/buy (base packages), buy/rent (libraries + Logos Now), and rent/rent (Logos Cloud). I guess there's even a buy/nothing choice. I didn't really understand this very well, last year, and only discovered it after buying a library but neglecting to buy a feature set.
Fortunately now there's Logos 7 Basic, but prior to that, a library without a feature set couldn't really do very much.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

The plan is for the web app to do the same license checking as the desktop app and show only features you have a license to.

No confusion here. It just doesn't allow me to go there.

Web app access should now be enabled in all Logos 7 libraries as well as feature sets.
Let me know if you still have any issues.
