Hi

When I open a Bible and select more than one verse of text and then go to read aloud The speech program will only read one verse and repeat it over and over again

should the speech program read any text you select in any resource,?

It would be helpful for people with dyslexia to have an option to ,stop ,pause icon

If no text is selected, read out loud will continue Reading text continually , a pause, stop icon

 would make it more usable

It would be better able to select text you want to have read out

    Hi Mick,

    I've reported your first issue with Read Aloud only reading first verse of selected passages.

    There is an audio player on the main toolbar that appears when Read Aloud is turned on.  You'll see it to the left of Layouts. It displays the text being read, a Pause/Play button and an X to close the player and turn off Read Aloud. Also, if you scroll in the text while it's being read aloud, it will stop.
