Devotionals? Prayer lists?
Prayer lists would be appropriate on that top bar and the homepage as well.
Are those two features gonna make a comeback?

Where did devotionals go? Perhaps we could have those come back and replace the lectionary and preferred Bible in the top bar?
Yes yes yes yes yes. Great suggestion. I can't remember hearing about plans for a prayer list. Bob did mention features they were not planing on bringing over and I can't remember Prayer list being one of them.

I miss the prayer list too.

Yes, the Bible reading, prayer list, and selected devotional/reading would be good to have on the homepage ribbon.

Yes Jacob I'm behind you on that one.
I use the prayer list facility in L3 and integrate it with my bible reading during my daily devotionals / quiet time / praye time.
Please bring it back

We are planning to have Prayer Lists, but they're post 4.0. Devotionals are down in the "newspaper" content. Reading lists show up in the "Features" area at the top.

In v3 we could pick the daily devotional we wanted and it would be on the homepage each day. Did I miss somewhere that this functionality is present in v4? I have not seen one of the devotionals appear in the newspaper section. If it is appearing, how do I select a particular devotional?
If it is appearing (or going to appear) on the newspaper page, can we make it appear first so that I see it easily each day.
As for reading plans, I love that I can use them for Bible and other books. Thank you! My preference would still be that an excerpt from my reading appear in the newspaper as well (or at least that I have that option).Jacob Hantla

I didn't realize that we could do these reading plans for other books. This is great! There are so many books that I have not read (and have forgotten that I even have). This will be one way to slowly get them read. Way to go, Logos!

I'm with Jacob. Need my Spurgeon, hate to have to go looking for him every morning.
While I'm grousing, I also don't like that it doesn't go to the day anymore. You have to browse to the day.

Does resource priority affect what is seen in the Newspaper. If no then devotionals in newspaper are a waste of time...either way makes much for sense to have these on the ribbon. I am using a Piper 'Devotianl' book at the moment that is simply a book of 31 readings and not linked to a calander. These could not be effectively use in L3, they can in L4 with the reading plan. Lecitonaries are calendar based and appear on the ribbon. Devotional's that are calander based do not appear on the ribbon. Devotionals that are not calander based can be on the ribbon through use of reading plan...this is totally inconsistent and confusing approach. All three scenarios should be accessible using the one method. - the ribbon.

I prioritized my favorite devotionals and still get only the 365 day commentary appearing in my newspaper. So I guess prioritization doesn't help (but I would like to add my suggestion that the newspaper use the preferred devotional). It would be good to be able to just choose to include on not include a devotional on the lower left hand customize menu (and then from there choose which one(s) to include).

OK, so now I have my Spurgeon on my shortcut bar. Cool.
But how do I make it go to today's reading, without browsing for it? In ver 3, just click on the resource, and it places you. Here, click on the shortcut, and it apparently goes to wherever you were last.
