Is there a way to "unprefer" resources?
Whenever I run a passage guide differing bibles pop up. Including the TNIV. I'm not interested in starting a flame war, but I have no interest in seeing the TNIV unless I specifically ask for it. But there it is every time. How can I set this program to not prefer the TNIV ever?

TCB,
wouldn't it be that you make sure that you have at least 5 preferred bibles chosen? They "crowd out" the less desired bibles then.
I thought that was the case...I did it and it worked for me.

Thanks Robert, I've thought of that and I'll do so, but it seems there ought to be a way to demote certain bibles without promoting others. Or maybe I'm asking too much. As least you've pointed me at the workaround.
Thanks

I agree. There are just certain resources that I use very rarely and would prefer them not to show up unless requested (or at least show up at the very bottom of the list).

Rating (by the stars) should come into it - I remember a comment that it was considered somewhere. But L4 should use our Rating!?

I "unpreferred" 4 of "the Text of the Earliest Greek New Testament" right out of the Logos 4 resource drawer.
So far it is not pleased with me. The Library gives me a "Resource Missing" message as soon as I opened it.
I was deliberately also trying to do a re-index (tempting the fates?) so we will see what happens.

I think so. I think the library should have a setting to only show resources with a certain rating or higher.

After Beta 2, removing resources only causes Logos4 to realize it's missing those resources and will re-download them automatically, this in turn causes Logos4 to re-index! So I don't recommend removing resources directly unless you want to experience the horrors of indexing [:S]
