Erasing Library Books

Hi folks

Have quite a number of extra copies of various books and would like to tidy up my library. When I transfer them to hidden resources and then try to delete them some of them reappear again in my library. Can anyone help solve this problem or do I have to be content with having extra books in hidden resources. Theinre is the possibility of deleting them there but it isn't working as I would expect it to do. Thanks for your help.

    PB's are born with eternal life.  However they can be born-again as new books, which is what I have done.

    Hiding a resource effectively deletes it (it has to be downloaded again if subsequently unhidden). I am not sure whence you are trying to delete resources: if from the hidden resources list, this does delete the resource but removes it from the hidden list and so unhides it. If this is what you have been doing, it would explain why they reappear. Hiding should be sufficient if all you want is to remove the resource from your library and resource file from your device.
