Couple of questions about the "Blank" Quick Screen

When On Air, Proclaim has a couple of arrow indicators showing slide position - which is very helpful
However when the Blank quick screen is selected these indicators disappear - making it easy to lose one's position particularly if in the middle of an item with lots of slides.
Also, when clicking the "right arrow" to the right of the preview slide it unblanks the screen - which is good - but displays the slide that was selected when the screen was blanked instead of the next one in sequence.
Two requests:
- When using the Blank quick screen can the arrow positioning indicators be preserved?
- When exiting the Blank quick screen using the arrow keys can the position in the presentation be changed to reflect this?
Thanks, Graham

Graham, thanks for the feedback.
Regarding the first request, I think we could do something better here to preserve the "last shown" selection in the timeline when a quick screen is showing.
Regarding the second request, the current behavior matches other presentation (e.g. PowerPoint) applications. If we implement the first request and keep the selection state in the timeline you could double click in the timeline to navigate to the next slide, instead of clicking the arrows. Thoughts?

Hi Scott
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

That would be helpful.

Interesting! I hadn't been aware that PowerPoint worked that way.
I was comparing it - at least in my thinking - with OpenLP which we are looking at transitioning from.
In that program the "Blank" function is a lot "harder". You toggle it on and it doesn't clear until you toggle it off. That means you can move around in the presentation - using arrow keys or the service view - until you are in exactly the right point to pick up again. And then you can "unblank" at the right place.
Double-clicking the timeline would work - particularly with a better indication of where we are - but something that replicated the OpenLP behaviour would be really helpful.
Hope this helps, Graham

Graham,
On my windows machine I use the on-air grid view and it retains the current slide indication when the blank slide (or any other quick screen) is displayed.

Thanks for checking.
I now see one indicator staying but the one on the vertical disappearing. From:

Comparing this with my previous screenshot (earlier in this thread) this does look like a welcome change.
Or are you seeing both preserved?
