Up / Down arrow keys in Service menu
Using the up / down arrow keys on my computer I can scroll up / down the service items. This moves the indicator outlined in red below up and down.
Couple of questions:
- I need to press the key twice for the positioning indicator to move. Is this by design and if so why? (I am sure a sure a reference to this on the forums yesterday but I can't find it now)
- What does this actually achieve? I had expected to be able to press Enter when positioned at a particular location and for the current slide projected to be updated. But as far as I can see it doesn't enable me to do anything. Am I missing something?

Thanks for bringing this up to our attention. That is not by design, you should be able to hit the arrow key only once and have the position indicator move.
We will continue to look into this more and let you know here when we can figure out the solution.
Could you possibly try loading a presentation that didn't have so many revisions. Looking over your account this presentation had over 220 revisions. I tested on a presentation that had low revisions and was not experiencing this and tested on a high revision presentation and was able to reproduce this.
Let me know how it goes when testing on a new or fairly new presentation.

Thanks for getting back to me on this and for looking into it.
I've created a new presentation "GC Test" that has just three service items and I need to press the up / down key twice to move down the left-hand menu. Hope this helps in tracking it down.
Also - any thoughts on my second question? What does this ability allow me to do?

Sorry for the delay in response, been a busy day with the new update that shipped out.
We are aware of the arrow keys being kind of buggy, but the idea of using Proclaim that way isn't intended.
Regarding your 2nd question: It is not for achievement, but for more personal preference. The ideal use of going from slide to slide the space bar is your best bet to avoid any delay or in your case a double push (arrow key) to allow the slide to continue on.
The enter key is disabled when going on air as by designed.

I think you're suggesting I shouldn't use the up/down arrow keys to scroll in the Service menu. And I'm fine with that.
I was just trying to understand whether it did anything useful and as far as I can see it doesn't. Or have I missed something?

Hello Graham,
If you're live On Air and in Preview mode, the arrow keys+spacebar can be used to dictate which slide gets jumped to. So say you need to revisit a previous slide or skip to a future one, that is one way to go about it.0 -
