Yes they are! The only difference between a minister and a church member is that a ministered went to seminary or school of preaching. Other than that we all have the same responsibility of living the Christian life 👍
I too have always considered everyone on the same level but it seems to me that many people put pastors on a pedestal and some pastors seem to like it that way. We need to keep the tension between honoring the person while treating them as we would treat any other member of a church - as a forgiven sinner.

Disagree. Read James 3:1.

Yes to James 3:1 but that’s the responsibility you chose when you went to seminary to get your diploma so you can get paid. That doesn’t make you holier than thou in the eyes of God or puts you in a position where you can allow yourself to think you‘re more than or better than any random member in the church. We all have the same responsibilities as Christians some get paid others don’t (Read Hebrews 5:11-14). So sorry, like it or not you’re the same as everybody else. Only one difference remains, you went to seminary others didn’t. Well another difference you get paid by the church so you can go to church. Wow, even your offering to God comes from what the members give you.
So you still think “pastors” are not people? Then, what are they: ah, that’s right, they are Christians like everyone else LOL 😂

We're all called to holines. We all fail at it sometimes. If the teacher fails, he is judged more strictly, because he also fails at being the example to others that he ought to be.

I think you’re missing the point, “Pastors are people too.” Yes they have a little bit more responsibility, but they are not above the members as bosses ruling over them. The whole misunderstanding comes from the erroneous view of the word “pastor.” The NT use of it has been replaced by man’s own definition of it. Elders, Bishops and Pastors are used interchangeably to refer to the plurality of leaders (elders) in the church; but some irresponsible schola thought Pastor means the preacher; hence, they think they should be view as someone who is above the church.
But anyway, no theological discussions.
