Can't select required Proclaim service when exporting from Logos Sermon Editor

I've just been trying to export a sermon from Logos to Proclaim - but the Proclaim service I want to export it to (2017-11-12 evening) doesn't show in the Export list.
I know I could export to one of the other services and then reuse the sermon slides in the Proclaim service I want but is there any better way of doing this?
I have synced and restarted both Logos and Proclaim to try and ensure that everything is up to date.
Suggestions appreciated
Thanks, Graham

Hey Graham,
I was unable to reproduce what you are experiencing in house.
Do you think you could write back your steps you took that way I can retrace your steps on my side and gather a better test to see if there is a bug we need to fix.
Also curious as well as what version of Logos are you on? I am on 7.10.0.0019
Thanks, Matt

Hi Matt
Thanks for the response.

All I did was click the Export button in the Logos Sermon Editor and then selected "Send to Proclaim".
That gave the dialog box giving me a choice of 4 Proclaim services to export to (or start a new one) - but it didn't include the Service within which I wanted to position the slides.
The Service in Proclaim was created yesterday by someone else within the group - I can see it in Proclaim but it isn't one of the options presented in Logos.
I note that only four Service options are presented. How - in general - would one be expected to choose one that isn't included in the four?

I'm running 7.11.0.0015 - so beta 3 of 7.11
Thanks, Graham
Edit: I've just managed to get the slides into the correct presentation by sending to one of the four in the list, copying them and then pasting into the one I wanted them in.

Hey Graham,
Thanks for the information which helps a lot. I had a theory about Proclaim and Sermon Editor based on groups and user login. Your response gives a lot of confirmation about that.
If you are signed into your Logos account (Sermon Editor) but you are trying to export that sermon into Proclaim using a presentation from a different user, but same presentation group it does not register in the box of 4 past presentations. I could be mistaken and I'm sure someone will correct me If I am wrong. (That is how I was able to reproduce what you were experiencing)

Well theoretically, once they open the presentation and sync up the presentation should be included in the top 4. They just got to open Proclaim and sync up before trying to export in Sermon Editor. (Assuming same accounts are logged in) I'm thinking the code maybe different for different users, but same presentation group which I just tested and was unable to see my presentation in Sermon Editor.

Looks like I need to update my Logos^

I'll bring this up with my team on Monday and see what we can do to prevent this in the future.
Thanks Graham for bringing this up. Hopefully my information helps you out.
Thanks, Matt

If this were the case it would be quite concerning - but I don't think it matches what I have seen.
Normally - in the couple of weeks or so we have been running Proclaim - the Proclaim service is initially put together by someone other than me and then I send a Logos Sermon into it. I am pretty sure that was the case for this morning where I do see the service.
Edit: I did change the morning presentation. Would that have been enough to cause it to appear?

Having changed the Proclaim evening service yesterday it now appears in the Logos Sermon export window.
So it may be that I need to ensure that I have either created or changed in some way the Proclaim service before it appears in Logos. This would seem consistent with what Matt was saying.
It would be good to get confirmation of this - and guidance as to whether this is by design.
Thanks, Graham

Graham, is it possible that the sermons showing in the list were updated more recently than the presentation created by the other member in the group? We only show the most recently updated four presentations from all the groups you belong to.

I don’t think so -but will try and check
The reason I don’t think so is that two of them are from Sunday 5th Nov and so I wouldnt expect them to have been updated last week which is when the ones for the 12th were created.

Following up on this - to the best I can determine neither of the 5 Nov services were updated although one was accessed. That was used to create a new Template service on Saturday but that didn't appear in the list of four when exporting from Logos.
So something doesn't seem quite right but I appreciate it could be very difficult to track down!
It does track with what Matt was suggesting about me only seeing service options for services I have created / modified in Proclaim in some way

Looking into the sync history I see that both of the 11/5 presentations were edited early Saturday morning. One by you and the other by another user in your group.
It's quite easy to inadvertently make a small inconsequential change when opening and viewing an old presentation. We also have a few bugs that will make small changes when different views are loaded.
I think it's safe to say that we've tracked down the issue. I'll make a request to increase the recent presentation count from 4 to something like 8, which should make this type of issue less likely in the future.0 -

Thanks Scott for checking into this

Absolutely understand

Agreed - and thanks for the involvement on this. And increasing the limit to 8 sounds like a good plan!
