I began receiving this error while trying to open/run the Logos 7 Basic program on a non-admin account in Windows 10.
Running the Logos program as an administrator caused the program to open, but then it also created a new, complete copy of Logos 7 (including downloading all of my Logos books) in my admin account.
SOLUTION:
Here are the steps I took to solve the problem.
1. Uninstall Logos.
2. Delete all Logos folders in C:/Users/<User Name>/AppData/Local (This applies to both non-admin and admin accounts)
3. Log into the Windows ADMIN account.
4. Download and install Logos 7 Basic.
5. When the Logos program runs for the first time, it will download all user-owned books. (This can take up to several hours.)
6. After all user-owned books have been downloaded, close the Logos program.
7. While still in the Windows ADMIN account, create a shortcut for opening the Logos program and place that shortcut onto the desktop of the Windows NON-ADMIN account.
8. Sign out of the Windows ADMIN account and sign in to the Windows NON-ADMIN account.
9. Now in the Windows NON-ADMIN account, use the shortcut created in step 7 to open/run the Logos program. (The admin password will be required.)
I just wanted to share this info in case any other Logos users encounter this same problem.
