I find the Passage List UI confusing

I think the Passage List User interface is unnecessarily confusing. (I don't need it explained to me - I've worked it out. But it's counter-intuitive in my view.)
The basic problem is that the human mind reads from left to right. So the top bar looks as though it wants me to Add a reference from a particular bible. But that's not what it means.
If you want to add a reference, you can either click the 'Add' dropdown (intuitive) or type something in the 'reference' box (counter-intuitive as nothing suggests that box is an 'add' box). I suggest the reference box is removed. In it's place 'Add' should become:
- 'Add'
- a specified passage
- from selected text
- from another passage list
- from a file
Clicking on 'a Bible passage' will bring up a reference box in a similar way to 'from another passage list'. If you want the 'Add' button to be more prominent it could say 'Add to this passage list' when there was sufficient room to do so.
An additional problem is the resources box. It's position at the moment suggests you will be adding verses from a specific resource. But that's not the case. Instead you're merely viewing verses in that resource. I suggest moving the resources box down from the grey bar into the panel itself (the same as you do in Bible Search with the additional version). The resource box should be entitled 'View passages in...'
Finally, I suggest moving the Sort and Merge commands to the right of the top bar for additional clarity.

I remember it taking me a bit of playing around to figure things out as well. Your suggestions make since to me.
