Tap on the workspace icon on the toolbar (tab icon) and on it there should be little icon in the upper right corner of a new window with a box and a horizontal line through it. Tap that to add a second window.
This is a terrible step back from the previous way of adding a second window and I hope they add the corner button back in an update after they get this beta out.

How do you select a resource to put in the new split area? It says, “Open from library“ in the new split, but selecting library resources always adds a whole workspace. I’m probably missing something obvious.

Maybe it’s a bug. I kept trying to add SBL Greek to a split screen with NASB95 in other split. Occurred to me to select a commentary and that worked. Now it will let me add SBL Greek in split of new workspace.
