Help Please - Verbum Now Member Benefit Issue or Confusion

I'm checking out the Verbum Now Member Benefit and I see a resource set I am interested in at a discounted price... Bloomsbury Studies on Thomas Aquinas for $115.99 USD. I click "Add to cart" and when I land on the Shopping Cart page the system is telling me that one or more items has been removed because I already own them and my shopping cart is empty.

The issue or confusion is that I do not own any of items in the resource set.

Help please.

Just out of interest I added this collection to my cart to see what discount I would get and the price is about $60 more than you are being quoted even with the discount.

Does you cart completely empty or are there residual resources left in it?

This is because the website has a wrong product (SKU) linked with the "Add to cart"-button. When I try this, it puts https://verbum.com/products/33665/fathers-of-the-church-series into the cart (for 1300 USD even though 40% off in December) - if you own that already, it will be removed and the cart shows empty.

If I put the Bloomsbury Studies in Aquinas into the Cart, it will show near 170 USD or 41% off (I own one small book of the twelve) - the cart will claim it's a Verbum Now discount, but still that's not $115.99 as shown. You need to ask Customer Service to get it for that.

Steve, thanks for calling attention to this.

The price was showing erroneous so I fixed that.

NB.Mick's observation was correct. There was another issue with the SKU in the button. You should be able to add the product now. Check it out and let me know if it is working for you. Thanks!

Steve, since you encountered a fair amount of confusion and rigmarole that was our fault we'll extend the $115.99 price that you first encountered.

Please reach out to our Customer Service folks at and we'll get this straightened out for you. If you have already completed the transaction, our Customer Service team can put the difference back on your credit card. If you haven't purchased yet, they can assist you in getting it for the price you first saw.
