The Loeb Classical Library

Now that Shakespeare's Works are going to be published in Logos, what about making the Loeb Classical Library available in Logos.
And please not the complete set as a one-off purchase. That would bankrupt most of us, maybe even Logos, and take forever to produce.
May I suggest publishing them in single volumes in PrePub over a number of years. They could be published over, say, 20 years. They could be published alphabetically. There is something there for everyone, because the Greek/Latin and English texts are interleaved. Make them interlinear, if you like, though I prefer interleaved, as you can follow the text more easily that way. If Latin or Greek is not your thing then you can read only the English translation.
What a joy! [:)]

This has been suggested before and I do hope if it ever happened it would be in affordable sized chunks, perhaps a larger than just single volumes.

Thanks for pointing this out, I'm downloading the zip file of all the volumes and will find them very useful. However, I'd still like certain copies (the ones not in Perseus) to be available and I'd be prepared to pay in order to have the capabilities of Logos.

I'm not sure what rules you broke, but I'm very happy to have the complete Loeb now in PDF - now if only I could get it in Logos too . . .

I offer my wholehearted support. What a wonderful Christmas gift to all this would make [:D]

Well, since we have Patrologiae Cursus Completus sets in CP, why not throw in the LOEB? I think Logos would officially inherit the title "epic" if they did.

As some of you may have noticed, we're currently making an effort to list all of the public domain titles in the Loeb Classical Library on community pricing. To see all of the Loeb Classical Library collections currently on community pricing, just search for "Loeb" on Logos.com. It'll return the full list. We'll be posting the remaining collections over the next few months; there's quite a few to come.
Also, I've explained the differences between the Logos editions of the Perseus Classics Collection and the Loeb Classical Library in a different thread. You can read my comments here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/70545/490971.aspx#490971

Thanks for the info. However, 20*20 = approximately 400 bids in total *$12 = roughly $4,800 in production costs. Are you sure you want to give away that much to Logos' competitors?
