I'm having the same issue.
Try opening to a blank layout (press and hold the command key immediately upon startup). Joe - If that doesnt work for you, please create a new thread and post logs. See my signature line.
William - If opening to a blank layout doesnt work, manually install the update. You are running SR-1, whereas the current version is SR-2.
