Would love to see the forthcoming two volume commentary on Revelation by Peter Leithart in Logos.
Admittedly, with a much lower price; 100$ per volume is pretty steep.
Here it is

Still expensive, but less than in print.
Price has been updated. Went from $120 to $50.
Ordered. Thank you!
How is the Greek handled?? Is there transliteration, like in the BECNT? I do not know Greek.
Thank you in advance.

Can’t comment on this properly as I’m waiting to get this in Logos, but you can get a decent-length sample for the Kindle version (and see what a good deal the Logos version is at the same time) - that has a subheading with a transliterated Greek word near the end, and that’s the only Greek I spotted. That’s only from the intro and might not be representative of the main text but Leithart tends to focus more on narrative and intertextuality than fine points of language - based on past usage, I imagine that original language references will be relatively rare and easy to follow.

Yes!
Thanks for telling - this looks like a great deal to have in Logos!
Leithart's "A House for My Name" is probably one of the first books I'd recommend to Christians that are newly curious about Biblical theology and his commentaries on 1-2 Samuel and 1-2 Kings are two of my favourite commentaries. Solomon Among the Postmoderns is great too - basically everything that he writes is worth reading, to my mind.
I was pretty gutted that I couldn't see myself getting this commentary at the (already discounted) higher price, so I'm utterly thrilled about this.
Does anyone know what persuasion he is- last thing I want is another Dispy/ Pretrib Rapture, etc, or Post toasty view book on the .Revelation
I think it's safe to say he's not what you're looking for. He's post-mil, similar to old-school Doug Wilson or James Jordan.
