WOW!!! I just signed up for Logos Now like 3 weeks ago with the understanding that I would have access to exclusive features that now I'm being told in an email that if I want to keep getting these exclusive features that I will have to pay double for them now.

When I spoke with customer service when I was signing up they never said anything about a "NEW" program that was about to be rolled out. As I've read what others have written, I'm not the only one who feels deceived, disappointed, and completely hurt by a company that we've invested so much in. I'm so frustrated right now!!! This is unbelievable... I would have to agree... this really seems like a breach of contract.

Had I received an email that said we are making changes to the Logos Now program... we are calling it BLAH BLAH BLAH and we are going to have different pricing plans. Oh... and by the way... since you just signed up for the Logos Now program... we're going to lock you into our highest level plan for the remainder of your subscription because we value you as a customer. You know... that would have made this whole thing better... Everyone that was a current Logos Now subscriber should have been grandfathered into the new Faithlife Connect program at the highest level for the remainder of their current subscription... This would have made more sense... I've lost A LOT of faith in Faithlife... And, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels the same way.

Faithlife, please make this good with your faithful customers of the old Logos now program.

From the way I understand it, you will retain the features until your subscription expires one year from when you purchased it.  Also, of you purchased only 3 weeks ago, you should be able to call Customer Service and get your money back if you want to cancel the subscription

Hi, Chuck. You will continue to enjoy access to all that Logos Now offers for the next year (or longer, if you pre-paid for multiple years). You also get to enjoy Faithlife Connect during that time. You've not lost anything you paid for. Instead, you've gotten more.

When I spoke with customer service when I was signing up they never said anything about a "NEW" program that was about to be rolled out. I'm sorry you're frustrated. But perhaps it's based on a misunderstanding about what is changing for you and when it is changing. I'm sorry we didn't do a better job of communicating this change.

You should have received an email very much like this. If you didn't, let us know so we can make sure you get it. We've heard reports that some didn't receive the email if they had unsubscribed from email communication. We need to send this over one at a time from our customer service department.

Faithlife, please make this good with your faithful customers of the old Logos now program.

That's our goal. Please let us know how we can do that for you.

Faithlife, please make this good with your faithful customers of the old Logos now program.

One option you have, if at the end of the day (in nine months) you like Logos Now better than any of the Connect options would be to switch to Verbum Now, which is almost-but-not-quite identical to Logos Now, costs the same as Logos Now, and isn't going anywhere.

Isn't going anywhere for now. Pun intended.

Who's to say they won't do the same with it.

BTW what is different? I've never once looked at it. I think it's designed for Catholic users right?

It is. It has a couple extra Catholic things, and I think it lacks some obscure something or other that Logos Now has, but otherwise it's identical.

Well, for one thing, the Catholic resources required to pull off 'Verbum Connect' just don't exist. There is no Verbum Mobile Ed whatsoever yet, never mind a sizable Catholic library on Faithlife TV, etc.

Besides, come November, there will probably be a noticeable uptick in Verbum Now subscriptions thanks to the end of Logos Now.

Hey Chuck! Below is what I received from customer service:

    Dear Jim,

     Thank you for your email.

There are a number of options for Faithlife Connect.  To continue getting the new features, you will need to the choose the option for  Faithlife Connect Essentials, or higher.

Information about the different options is available here.

    Sincerely,Joe McCune

So, yes we will have to pay out, for the Faithlife Connect Essentials pkg $239.88. As with all of us we already have a lot invested in what is a great software program- but to more than double that price, in my opinion, is asking too much.

I've been thinking about getting Bibleworks as an additional program to help me with my language studies, so Logos has now made it easy for me to see where I will put my resources at this time. It also makes me think twice about investing any more in Logos software. I love Logos, but this decision on how to make more money from us is very disappointing. Logos, I truly hope your listening to what we're all saying here. You need to backup and regroup!

    Sincerely, Jim s.
