I would like to create a visual filter that shows everywhere a preposition is used regarding Jesus (for example, through him, by him, for him, to him etc). Is this at all possible?
This might help
It makes a couple of assumptions:
Thanks Graham! I'll replicate now and see how it goes [Y][:)]
Does the 'P' after the tilde (~) stand for Preposition?
Yes it does - that string was generated directly from a Morph Search panel
Thanks! I was curious how the search was built.
Translation can have different preposition word order than Greek:
@p BEFORE 1-2 WORDS <Person Jesus>
Searching for 2 words can have false positive: e.g. Matthew 9:3
1984 NIV shows Greek preposition underline with me in Matthew 10:32 (even though translation does not have an English preposition). Contrast to me in Matthew 10:37 (both me's have a precept marker for Jesus) while more in Matthew 10:37 has Greek preposition underline.
Thread => more inductive symbols includes another screen shot showing precept filters being used with Logos Greek Morphology filters.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Thank you, KS4J! All of this is really neat. I spent some time last night going through the highlighting palettes and visual filters from the two Faithlife groups referenced in your link and I downloaded some of them. I had created my own Inductive palette some time ago but I didn't have a visual filter to power it so this is very helpful.
