I am using the Chicago style guide for my PhD. Chicago uses 3 and 4 letter abbreviations for books of the bible. (e.g. not Ge nor Genesis, but Gen) I believe it is the same ad SBL.
I suggest that, Logos adds another replacement token [SBLPassageRef] to use the SBL style for bible referencing.
Even better, though it would take more work to implement, would be a [UserstylePassageRef] that links the passage referencing to the style chosen in Program Settings.
