How do I attach a verse note to several different versions?

I create a note on a particular verse, say Gen 3:22 in NASB. Is there some way to get that highlight automatically appear in my other versions? Right now I have to repeat the process in all my versions.

When you add a note to selection (1 below) it will appear only in that version. When you add a note to a reference (2 below) it till appear in all resources with that milestone reference. Just select (it will appear in white) which you want.

You can also use the "Corresponding Notes and Highlights" items in the visual filter menu (the three interlocking circles) to turn on visibility of selection highlights from other Bibles. This works between Bibles that have reverse interlinears.

Thanks, Andrew and M.J. M.J.'s suggestion works for bringing the notes to all versions. And Andrew's for bringing the highlights to the versions that support it. RSV and Holman don't support notes or highlights from the other versions using the visual filter. (which I think is kind of odd).

Both the RSV & HCSB should do both. As was mentioned, the translation must have a "reverse interlinear" (aka RI). The RI is not acquired via a purchase with the bible text itself, so it may be that you don't have access to those translation's RI's. When you hover over a word, do you see the OL material?

Well, I'm not going to spend the money on RI's for them, especially the RSV. I do not trust it.The copyright on that version is held by the National Council of Churches of which a large number of members don't hold to the historic doctrines of the Faith. i.e. the virgin birth, the resurrection, the inspiration of Scripture, and even has a few academic 'leaders' that are insane enough to publicly doubt that Jesus even existed.  I can see how the Personal Note is linked to the underlying original word, but I still can't understand why the highlight is not transferable. Oh, well. My top 4 are NIV, NASB, NET, and the LEB (Lexham English Bible) not necessarily. I really appreciate how the LEB ditches the 2000year+ superstition against pronouncing Yahweh's name. (substituting Lord for Yahweh) I believe using Lord instead of Yahweh subtlely denigrates Him. (i.e. He becomes one of many lords, not the I AM)

Highlighting is a note by “selection.” When you create a highlight, you ”select” a sentence, phrase, word or even a single character. With that understanding, seeing a highlight in one translation made in another translation doesn’t make sense. The new feature takes the highlight in translation “A” and discovers the underlying original language word and bible reference. It then will find the same underlying original language word in translation “B” and replicate the highlight for you. The highlight note itself, however, always remains with translation “A.”

Since you aren’t seeing the highlights in those two translations, the two most likely causes are 1) you don’t have access to those translation‘s RI’s OR 2) You haven’t turned on the right visual filter. If you want to continue to troubleshoot, we’d be glad to help.
