March Madness voting issue

So, I just came to look at the round 2, and every time I click on a matchup, it says "Thank you for voting!" even though I haven't voted yet.
Anyone else having this problem?

I had this happen before the voting opened for round 1 but I've been able to successfully vote since that time. Not sure what to suggest.

It worked fine for me in both brackets yesterday afternoon.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. It worked for me both last night and this morning. Don't know if anyone at Faithlife is available to look into it on the weekend, but it can't hurt to call.Dale E Heath said:It worked fine for me in both brackets yesterday afternoon.

Hi Ben, thanks for letting us know! I'll check in with the team to see if we can figure out what's going on.

Hi Ben. One of our developers looked into this and he didn't find any errors. We've also tested it several times and can't reproduce the error. Have you tried clearing your browser's cache?

Maybe I am just quick on the trigger ... but the new round seems to be up ... the final 4 ... with a new layout.
I can click to see a matchup ... but there are no voting buttons.
(Yet somehow NICOT/NICNT has 1 vote[:)] )

Thanks. I was just about to post that there was a problem but you folks are already on top of things!

Actually, isn't this round the "Elite Eight" rather than the "Final Four"?

It seems to be up and running now... come on NICOT/NICNT!!!

This has been resolved. You should all be able to vote. If you continue to experience issues, please respond to this post to let us know.
I'm so sorry for the errors that have come up during the last few round switches—I'm hoping that the next time we switch rounds things will be a little smoother. Thanks for your patience, I really appreciate it!

I reckon I'm experiencing an issue that I've not seen before. Interpret this end-user data as seems best.
(1) I didn't know about any voting in courses (which doesn't worry me). But, (2) now that I come to vote on the final four commentary series, I get only two voting screens cycling through the popup box: one is the first pair of commentaries (NICOT/NICNT vs ZECNT), and the second is between two courses. That means that, if I were solely to trust the popup window, I'm not getting to cast a vote on the other commentary pair (EBC vs NIVAC).

Thanks for reporting this, Andrew. I’ll have our developers look into it. If you click on the EBC vs. NIVAC match-up, does it give you the correct pop-up that allows you to vote? If so, that could be a workaround until they are able to solve the problem. I know it’s inconvenient, but at least that way you’ll be able to cast your vote while we fix the issue.
Thanks for bearing with us!

Hi Christina.
I am having the same issue as Andrew.
Clicking on NICOT match-up allows a vote, the next pop-up (from the right >) is the BI205 matchup; > then returns to NICOT matchup; showing only these two pairs. Starting again with NICOT, the < button goes to BI205; after which the < button stops functioning at all !
If I start with Expositors, I can vote. The > arrow takes me to NICOT and then I am stuck in the same loop as above. If I start again with the with Expositors then the < arrow takes me to BI205 as described above.
The courses side seems to be working as expected if using the > arrow; but the < arrow from the BI205 is non-functional (as it is also non-functional above).

I can vote on all 4 match ups. They just alternate between commentary and mobile ed match ups.

I had the same problem. Tried clearing the cache but that didn't help. What I "hope" was a successful solution was simply to select each individual competition matchup for the round. That brought up the correct resources and allowed me to vote. After voting, I could see the number of votes had increased by one for the resource I voted on, and it showed the typical "thanks for voting" message. Have to admit though that it left me a little concerned as to whether or not my votes were really getting logged against the correct resource behind the scenes. A "nefarious party"? Probably not. A typo or missing/misplaced syntax element in the program code? A more likely cause. [:P]Joseph Sollenberger said:Oh my! Is a nefarious party attempting to steal the election?

Thank you all for reporting this! Our developer looked at the code early this morning and thought it'd be best to take out the arrows altogether. You can vote for each match-up by clicking on the match-up in each bracket.

You can rest assured that your votes did count. This was luckily just an error with the way the site was being displayed; it shouldn't affect the way the votes are logged and stored on the back-end.
