Lectionaries

I am pleased to report that the last download seems to have restored my lectionaries though it did not restore my help files.  I still have a problem with the lectionaries (actually, more than one):

1. The Catholic Lectionary which seems to be the default gives the reading for the Wisd. of Sol. in English with the Gospel in Greek [ Scratch this.  I just prioritized the LXX and got the Greek].

2. When I brought up the RCL I noted that the Hebrew of Proverbs seemed a bit strange.  The font, though very similar to the SBL Hebrew which is my preference, doesn't seem quite the same and at its smallest setting is larger than the setting I have in BHS 4.2.

3. The Hebrew text is aligned LEFT rather than right and the verse numbers are on the left.

  • Ouch! [^o)] that's not good (especially left aligned Hebrew).

  • I noticed that when I hovered over the scripture verse itself (e.g., Prov 31) that the popup window shows the Hebrew text properly aligned to the right. But, it's the presentation of the Hebrew on the Lectionary page that's left justified.

Interestingly, while the text seems to flow right to left, at the very beginning of the lection reading, the text starts on the right (slightly indented) but the verse number appears on the left side of the screen.

P.S. As I just exclaimed to my bride -- "great catch George, great catch!"
