I would like to see the illustration resources to be expanded to include historical material, a broader range of religious beliefs, story sermons etc. My first cut of a list is:

Speaking in Stories by William R. White
Stories for Telling by William R. White
Stories for the Gathering by William R. White

Taking Flight by Anthony de Mello
Heart of the Enlightened by Anthony de Mello
The Song of the Bird by Anthony de Mello
One Minute Wisdom by Anthony de Mello

Storytelling the Word: Homilies & How to Write Them by William J. Bausch
In the Beginning, There Were Stories: Thoughts About the Oral Tradition of the Bible by William J. Bausch
Storytelling: Imagination and Faith by William J. Bausch
Telling Stories Compelling Stories by William Bausch

Disciplina Clericalis by Petrus Alfonsi
The Conference of Birds translated by Dick Davis (it is censoring the nickname of Richard)[H]
The Fables of Odo of Cheriton by Odo of Cheriton
The Eexempla or Illustrative Stories from the Sermones Vulgares of Jacques de Vitry  edited, with Introduction and Notes, by Thomas Frederick Crane

Parables of Kierkegaard by Soen Kierkegaard
Tales of the Hasidim by Martin Buber

I know there are a number of people I've forgotten - and many I don't know. Additional suggestions?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

On the other hand, I know little of these works, but knowing you, I would like to see them.  Thanks for suggesting.
