Logos Now changed to Faithlife connect essentials

Dear Logos- at a loss to understand what’s going on. In your FAQ’s section you state:

“Why doesn’t Faithlife Connect Essentials (No Library) include a library?

After listening to our customers, we found that Logos Now members were not interested in the Logos Cloud library included in other Faithlife Connect levels. Logos Now members also made it clear that they wanted to maintain access to the same features available in Logos Now, without a change in price. Creating a Faithlife Connect level without a library and providing a reduced rate enabled us to meet both of these needs.”

However, upon looking at your pricing you are still charging $19.99 per month which is about $240 a year compared with the $99 you were previously charging. I am not seeing any secondary choice on the pricing for those of us who would want what was previously offered as Logos Now. Or, is that no change in price message only for those who are currently or were Logos Now users. Am I missing something- cause it appears that there is still an increase. If there is somewhere else I should be looking please point me to it.

As I understand it, the Faithlfe Connect Essentials (No Library) bundle is only available to those who are, (or very recently were) Logos Now subscribers. For those who wish to sign up for a new package the Logos Now offer is closed and the Faithlfe Connect Essentials (No Library) offer is not available.

I am afraid the folk will now have to sign up to the Connect range with the subsequent price structure.

This is, of course, not a price increase as such. It is just a new pricing structure. Those who were previous subscribers have been 'grandfathered' into their old deal for as long as they maintain their subscriptions.

Previous LN members will receive an email offer allowing them to sign up for Faithlife Connect (No Library) at the (grandfathered LN) price of $99. I don't think those emails have gone out yet.

That will be a one-time offer. Not signing up for that offer (or allowing your existing $99 subscription to lapse) would mean that you'd have to renew later at the current/higher price.

Thanks for this Jim.  I have been watching for the update.  Now I see why i didn't see it.  This is massively unfortunate for me.  I was just about to sign up for LN when the whole Faithlife Connect fiasco started.  Timing is everything! [:O]

It is my understanding that this might be offered to others who were not LN members at a price point between the old price and the FC Essentials price.
