What Spanish Bible has Interlinear Support
Greetings.
I plan to purchase a Spanish bible.
I would like to know which Spanish bibles have at least Interlinear Greek support.
I am using Logos 4.02.3.8750 with Greek and Hebrew interlinear stuff.

I'm not sure about all of the Spanish Bibles that Logos has, but I own:
- Nueva Versión Internacional
- Reina Valera Revisada 1960
- Reina-Valera Actualizada
- Reina-Valera 1995
- La Biblia de las Américas
- Nueva Biblia de los Hispanos
Of all of these, the only one with a Reverse Interlinear is the Reina Valera Revisada 1960.
I understand that soon Logos will eventually add reverse interlinear support to the English NIV. When this happens, I suspect that it is POSSIBLE that the Nueva Versión Internacional might also receive reverse interlinear support, but that is only a guess on my part.

That looks like the right one. Mine came as part of a set so I didn't buy it separately, but I'm pretty sure that's it. One thing you should note, The Reina-Valera uses an older version of Spanish than some of the newer translations (i.e. the Old King James vs NIV today). Depending on your level of Spanish, you may struggle a bit more with the Reina-Valera than some other translations. However, if Greek cross-referencing is your main concern, than the Reina-Valera 1960 is definitely the way to go for now.

FYI - I bought RVR60 as a separate purchase and my copy does not have interlinear support. Perhaps the one bought in a package does. Come to think of it, my NIV was also purchased outside of any package; I wonder if it will get interlinear support when that is available on the NIV?

That may be something you want to call Logos on because I definitely have it so you should too.

For the English Bibles the only way to get RI capabilities is to purchase a base package. I don't know if this is the case with that Spanish Bible but it would be consistent with how Logos is doing it elsewhere.

I don't think the NIV in Spanish will have interlinear support, because "La Biblia de las Américas" is the equivalent of NASB, yet in Spanish it has no interlinear. I do wish and hope Logos gets an interlinear out for all the Spanish Bibles, but I think they would have to make that a whole different proyect since the wording is not necesarily the same in Spanish as it is in English. Alright, that's all folks!

As of today, the only Spanish language Bible that has a reverse interlinear is the Reina-Valera Revisada (1960). As far as I know it is only available as a reverse interlinear as part of a Spanish-Language base package, though it can be purchased without the reverse interlinear capability separately.
It would be great, if Logos offered this RVI Bible as a separate purchase. But I don't know if they have the licensing options to do so.

The Greek text used in this interlinear is a Textus Receptus text, so it won't match up with the most recently edited Greek texts, based on older manuscripts.
I have had a conversation with some of the academic people at Logos, about the possibility of me working on another interlinear, based on another Spanish Bible. Personally, my choice would be La Biblia de las Américas (Spanish equivalent of NASB), though I prefer La Nueva Biblia de los Hispanos, which is about the same, but uses ustedes instead of vosotros.
I have to finish my PhD dissertation before I can begin another project, but I hope to aid in the development of something like that before too much longer.

Some time ago I read that the Old Testament reverse interlinear would be available when 4.0c was released. Can anyone confirm if it's available now?
After updating to 4.0c I still don't see the OT in RVR 60. I do have the NT.

I do have the RVR60 reverse interlinear and it does include the OT (though I haven't checked every book).

The RVR1960 only has the reverse interlinear in some packages. See the post above for the least expensive package that has this resource. It would be helpful if Logos would make this resource available for purchase.

As to additional reverse interlinear resources: at this point, every new reverse interlinear we produce is its own data project. So the work on the English NIV will unfortunately not automatically produce a reverse interlinear for the NVI: that requires the work of a scholar going through verse-by-verse and doing the alignment.
