Currently if I want to amend the reading plan, it'll start me over from the beginning. This is not particularly abnoxious when reading the Bible since I can just start my reading from where I left off. But when I'm reading a book it's all or nothing. If my schedule gets filled and I'm not able to get all my reading done in a week, I'm now perpetually behind.

So here' s my idea for a fix:

1. Allow postponement of reading. If I can't read today, give me an option to postpone the reading, which will push everything back a day.

2. Allow us to designate ranges of reading in a book (i.e. read pages 100-200 (chapters 3-5) of Somebook in 8 days.

Good suggestions..reading plans in L4 answer some long requested features...adding these will make them all the more appealing.

Like you Jacob, I frequently find my time to be shorter than required for the reading I allot for myself.  [:)]

A simple button which would reset the reading days to today and push everything back would be a marvelous addition, and one that I have frequently wished for but never had.

ie.  If I have set a book to read from October 1-31 (31 readings) but for some reason upon the fifteenth-twentieth day I just don't have the chance I can click the button and the schedule readjusts with the fifteenth reading now appearing on October 21 and the series being completed November 5.

"reset reading from here"  <-  A great suggestion.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
