There are still bugs in the search features I think. The screenshots speak for themselves:

Hope you can help fix this, guys.

Well the west strikes again Alan, these searches work for me in the NIV.

But I notice that you are using an 'Anglicised' version.

Shouldn't you be using a Celticised version?

Do you think that the version is significant as far as this problem is concerned?

    Mike,

You're absolutely right. I ran the same searches using the US NIV and they all worked.

Now, a plea to developers. [pi] [B] [C] [^] Shouldn't this search work with the NIV - Anglicised? They certainly worked in previous Alphas. The NIV - Anglicised is my Bible of choice. It's the one we use in church. I've had this resource, faithfully updated by Logos, since Logos 1.6. Please make it work. <grovel> Life won't be the same without it.

"Curiouser and curiouser," as Alice said.

This time I ran the search on the US NIV then added NIV - Anglicised and it appeared alongside but without highlighted text. So I ran the search with NIV - Anglicised and it was blank again, even when I tried to add the US NIV as the second version. See below:

Alan - Make sure the reindexing is complete, i.e. when you *think* it's done restart L4 and it may reindex a bit more of your library. I had the same problem as you about an hour ago. It's all working now.

    Stephen

As far as I am aware indexing completed over an hour ago. There is no sign of any indexing activity in my log,as this extract shows:

    05/05/2010 22:57:33 |  INFO | 2 | LogosIndexerWorker | All background tasks have completed; exiting application.

It is now 23:49 BST, and no indexer activity. I seriously think the problem is related to specific resources. Or perhaps it's my 61Kb update which downloads every time I restart the app. I've reported this in another thread. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/16643.aspx

    Alan:

Can you post your logs of it working with the NIV and it not with the NIV - Anglicised? I can't get it as part of my library in order to test for some reason.

    Alan,

I just confirmed this on my MacBook at home with the TNIV, Darby and the Message. Grid works, Verses and Aligned view doesn't. I'll bring my laptop into work tomorrow and see if we can diagnosis this.

Seems like it might be a regression in resources that don't have a reverse interlinear.

Thanks. Rebuilt index. Problem solved. Searches work in Grid, Verses, Aligned. Ran search on NIV – Anglicised. [:D]
