Odd Verbum Email
I received an email from Verbum on Saturday that stated: "We've missed you! Here's a $20 gift"
Then, it doesn't provide any more info on that. Is this the $100 gets you $20 deal, or is this something else? I don't do a lot of Verbum business and I don't want to seem greedy, but I also don't want to leave anything on the table.

I think it was a mistake.

With all due respect, that's not info; it was a guess.
If they sent you a coupon, why wouldn't you want to use it?

They didn't actually send a coupon.

My apologies; I misread the original OP. Yeah, it probably was a mistake, though logos.com did send one out like that once with a coupon.

Faithlife often surprises us with things like this. Just accept the gift and say thank you. I wouldn't see any need to feel greedy or guilty of accepting.

There wasn't any gift. There was a small amount of text referring to a gift. That text was mistakenly included in an email about something unrelated.

Hello Robert,
I have some good news and some bad news about this.
This was indeed a mistake on our part. A old draft email template was inadvertently sent to you. That's the bad news. We're sorry about that and we're taking steps to ensure things like that don't happen again.
The good news is that we're going to extend a $20 coupon to you anyway. That coupon will come to you via email today and will be good to use on Verbum.com.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for your patience throughout. And thank you for being a user and supporter of the software!

Hello Craig,
Are you going to extend the $20 Coupon to everyone who received the email? That would be great news!
Grace & Peace.
Dad gracias al Señor porque es bueno, porque es eterna su misericordia.
